Thredbo Village is nestled in the Thredbo valley with mountains on two sides and down from those mountains run dozens of small unnamed creeks that flow into the Thredbo River. This is one of those creeks, running only meters from ski chalets in thick scrub this creek has dozens of cascades over mossy rocks and in this image I captured it as it flowed around a series of giant granite boulders. These creeks are like another world and you can easily forget you are only meters from one of Australia's largest ski resorts.
