Mt Feathertop is a rugged mountain 10km north of Mt Hotham in the Victorian Alps. Rising to 1912m it is the second highest mountain in the Victorian Alps and it is not skiable due to its isolated location from the Mt Hotham ski resort. It’s a beautiful mountain in the dawn light when it’s covered in snow and on this morning I was treated to an exceptionally bright orange pre-dawn glow which makes this a spectacular image.
